{"id":11305,"date":"2019-02-06T15:17:07","date_gmt":"2019-02-06T20:17:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cegepadistance.ca\/?page_id=11305"},"modified":"2023-01-25T13:42:58","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T18:42:58","slug":"benefits-of-a-commandite","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cegepadistance.ca\/en\/education-network\/academic-advisors\/benefits-of-a-commandite\/","title":{"rendered":"Reciprocal agreement (<em>commandite<\/em>) benefits for visiting students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The reciprocal <span lang=\"EN-CA\">agreement<\/span><span lang=\"EN-CA\"> <\/span>for visiting students<span> (<\/span><em>commandite<\/em><span>) <\/span>allows a student to take a course at C\u00e9gep \u00e0 distance while remaining enrolled at another CEGEP.<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Commandites<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>allow CEGEPs, at no additional cost, to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significantly increase the selection of courses open to their students<\/li>\n<li>Improve the scheduling flexibility of courses offered: continuous registration all year long, variable course length, self-paced studies at home or elsewhere, coaching from a tutor, academic support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The selection of courses at C\u00e9gep \u00e0 distance allows students to access a wider variety of courses during the summer, for example.<\/p>\n<p>In some cases, a<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>commandite<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>can allow students to speed up their learning path and graduate faster.
