STEP 1: ACCESS AND MOTIVATION

Value of the chat room
Hi,
Every week, I get new registrations…
If you haven’t done any math for a few years, you will probably take a little more time to review Chapter 1 and its annex.
You can help one another in the chat rooms.
Be sure to use the chat rooms. You will read questions from former students who have worked, searched and succeeded. Answers dealing with exercises in the manual and assignments will help you. I cite here a comment that Catherine addressed to her group at the end of the course. Catherine was very present in the chat rooms. She asked questions, but, in addition, she often answered those of other students.
“… Don’t hesitate to ask questions in the chat room, even if they seem ridiculous to you. Often, other people are asking themselves the same questions, but they don’t dare ask them. Especially when there’s a vague point, DO NOT DELAY in clearing it up by telling yourself that it’s probably just a detail. Ask your questions right away when you don’t understand… One of the best pieces of advice that I could give is to PARTICIPATE IN THE CHAT ROOM. By answering others’ questions, you will remember concepts that you learned previously, which really helps during review.
The chat rooms also give you the impression that you’re not alone, because we often wonder whether we’ll ever make it. You can make it. I didn’t done any mathematics for eight years. The final exam was easy for me…
Sorry for rambling on!” Catherine
All the best in your work to all of you. You’ll be hearing from me soon. Check your messaging often.
