Multiplication and Division

To multiply two numeric fractions, simply multiply the numerators and multiply the denominators.

To divide two numeric fractions, multiply the first fraction (using the approach mentioned above) by the reciprocal of the second fraction. The reciprocal of the second fraction is essentially the second fraction which has been 'flipped upside-down'.
